“33” Export Set to celebrate World Friendship day in Lagos, Calabar

“33” Export, a Nigerian breweries beer brand at the forefront of promoting the spirit of friendship, will be celebrating the World Friendship Day with consumers and their loved ones with its flagship consumer engagement activity the “City Of Friends.” This was announced at a well-attended media parley or press conference event at the company’s corporate headquarters yesterday in Lagos.

Over the past couple of months, “33” Export Lager Beer has been on a mission of deepening friendships and spreading the gospel of love through its signatory friendship parties. With a number of successful friendship parties under their belt, “33” Export is taking the initiative to a whole new level with the “City Of Friends” initiative, which is in its second year.

The 2-day event holding in Calabar and Lagos will build on what has been a thriving platform through which the brand promotes love and friendships while helping Nigerians to create beautiful memories that transcend normal day-to-day relationships.

The “City of Friends” parties will also see top performances from some of Nigeria’s biggest artistes including 9ice, Kizz Daniel, Small Doctor, Alabi Pasuma, Simi, Phyno, Harrysong, Mc Galaxy, Mc Gordons, Mc Shakara.

This edition will also have a few more side attractions like the Pendown for friendship contest which will see writers compete for a grant to study some select courses at any media and communications institute of their choice in Nigeria.

This edition of “City of Friends” will be a combination of music, entertainment and creative writing to offer a whole new experience and to appeal to an even wider demographic.

Addressing journalists on the plans in place for the event, the Marketing Director of Nigerian Breweries, makers of “33” Export and other premium beer brands, Mr. Franco Maria Maggi, said: The “33” Export brand is dedicated to building friendship moments. We believe that Friendship should be celebrated every day. Hence, all our brand activities are geared towards celebrating friendship. …To this end, the “33” Export brand, is poised to continually participate in activities that will unite us along these lines.

“33” Export celebrated World Friendship Day for the first time in Nigeria in 2016. …2017 was no different as we celebrated the event in a grand style with our Friendship beer. Our plan is to surpass our own best efforts in 2018! Come July 30th, 2018, we will join the World again to celebrate friendship in a grand style. I say grand because this time we are taking the celebration to the grassroots

Conceived to provide unique friendship experiences whilst creating opportunities for consumers to bond, party and create memorable moments, the “City of Friends” have become a major staple of friends and fun lovers around the country.

“33” Export has successfully won the hearts of beer lovers all over the country as the friendship themed initiatives have allowed the brand to reach new audiences as well as connect better with their existing market.

The 2-day “City of Friends” event is scheduled to take place in Calabar on the 28th — 29th of July, and Lagos on the 3rd — 4th of August. The Calabar venue is Municipal Gardens while the Lagos venue is Eagles’ Club Surulere. Everybody is invited.
