In November, MTN launched a music streaming platform, MusicTime!, in partnership with SimFy Africa. Then MusicTime! decided to host celebrities to an exclusive party at the MTN Car Park Rooftop on On Friday, December 13th, 2019.

The experience had us craving for more so we decided to bring to you all the exclusive gist we knew you weren’t expecting. This is how it all went down!

The party had music veterans, A-list celebrities, and music fans troop in to get an on-ground musical experience streamed from the MusicTime! App!

Olisa Adibua and music star, D’Banj laughing about something we are all dying to know!

It was an all-round music fiesta and we totally enjoyed every moment!

D’banj shared a lot of ‘hugs’ and we were sure to capture it. Apparently, we have missed him so much, and we failed to recognize it.

During the party, there was a brief panel session, moderated by the Mc, Sensei Uche.

On the panel were music artistes — Praiz and Djinee (we’ve totally missed this guy), then Funso Finnih, Senior Manager, Media and Entertainment, MTN Nigeria and Oye Akideinde, CEO of SimFy Africa!

From the session, we left with one message in our hearts — ‘Streaming good music without data is the new culture in Africa’.

L-R: Senior Manager, Media and Entertainment, MTN Nigeria, Funso Finnih; songwriter, producer and singer, Praiz; Chief Executive Officer, MusicTime, Oye Akideinde and singer, songwriter and producer, Djinee, at the Musictime! Exclusive Party after they had the panel session.

The highlight of the night was when Harrysongz attempted the Dele Alli challenge and ……. well, we would leave you to decide if he passed!

Finally, what’s a MusicTime! Exclusive Party without fun, fun and dance!!!
