Recently, the Ota store was revamped. Accompanied by product sampling activities, activations, and special promotions on specific products, the new look was unveiled on August 27, 2021.

Shoprite has been working hard to ensure that the shopping experience of its customers is improved significantly. This is in line with the commitment made by Ketron investment Limited after acquiring the Shoprite Nigeria Franchise. This deal was financed by MBO Capital, giving it control of the 25 outlets which the company operated across eleven states in Nigeria including Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The management and new owners of Shoprite Nigeria expect that the new improvements made to the Ota store and the promo deals will increase the visibility of customers in-store and positively impact the growth and sustenance of the retail brand in Nigeria.
