International Women’s Day: Here’s How We’re Celebrating!

1 min readMar 10, 2020

Celebrating women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.

The first International Women’s Day in 1911 was supported by over one million people.

Today, International Women’s Day belongs to us all! Today, we celebrate the fight for a gender-equal world!

Collective action and shared ownership for driving gender parity is what makes International Women’s Day successful.

For us at BHM, the race is on for the gender-equal boardroom, gender-equal workplaces and more gender equality in health and wealth.

The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single person but to the collective efforts of all who care about a gender-equal world.

Collectively, each one of us can help create a gender-equal world.

With our superwomen, we actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias and broaden perceptions.

To the 20 special women currently working with us to build the future at Plaqad Inc, BHM and ID Africa, here’s to you.

Happy International Women’s Day!
