Foremost Nigerian beer brand, Life Lager Beer, has pulled off a stunning beautification of the Niger Bridge by lighting it up with beautiful neon lights. The famous bridge which connects the eastern and western parts of Nigeria has long been a brand icon for Life Lager and the beer brand has now continued its impressive new campaign with this impeccable gesture.

Since its inception, the Life Lager Beer brand has shared a very strong connection with the people of South-Eastern Nigeria, owing to its message of progress; a key narrative that Life Lager pioneers.

Over the years, the brand has launched various initiatives aimed at not only communicating progress but also showing progress. This new initiative comes just months after it launched a campaign to show solidarity with its consumers during the pandemic, as well as unveil its new bottle which once again spots the Niger Bridge as one of its unique features.

The lights on the bridge carries the message — “Enjoy Life Responsibly” which is a call back to Life Lager’s message of self preservation; a key message in its recent “Nduka” campaign.

Speaking on the project, Sales Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc., Uche Unigwe, said — “The Niger Bridge is more than just a pathway; it’s a symbol of hope and progress. This is Life Lager’s way of adorning this iconic monument with a look it deserves.”

The light-up event which was hosted at the foot of the bridge also featured various dignitaries and government leaders, including the Executive Governor of the Anambra State, Willie Obiano who expressed his delight at the lighting of the bridge.

Along with the lighting of the bridge, the brand also unveiled a new theme song, featuring two of its brand ambassadors — Flavour and Phyno. This new song passes the brand’s central message of hope and progress in an informative, yet melodious way, thanks to the brilliance of both artists. The song titled “Chop Life” is set to make massive airwaves across the Nation as the brand has also promised to release a visual to the song, in the coming weeks.

Life Lager Beer was first brewed in Onitsha, Anambra State in 1981 and has since then grown from just a regional beer brand to becoming the biggest in the country. The brand is best known for its rich taste and strong Igbo roots often displayed in its brand communication and sponsorship of many southeastern events.
